Railway Tracks
Solacoat PT Rail system can be applied to reduce temperatures on railway tracks and minimise interruption to rail traffic whilst in a compressed state (a common cause of heat buckle). This coating can reduce the rail temperature between 50C and 120C depending on ambient temperatures.
The commercial savings from reduced heat buckle are minimised disruption to rail operations and a reduced need for re-laying tracks in hot season, saving millions of dollars and reducing carbon emissions associated with remedial work.
