Timber Bridges & Poles

Fireshell F1E and F1EHV are exterior intumescent coating technologies specifically designed to protect timber from bushfire attack. The intumescent technology when exposed to radiant heat, ember attack and direct flame reacts to the heat forming a carbon insulating layer on the surface. This protects the substrate and stops any chance of ignition flame spread and structural damage to the coated surface. Tested to Australian and international standards for both fire performance and external weathering performance. Passed 2 X 10 minute burn over: Full scale infield utility pole burn test: No ignition, no structural damage to timber.

Features:

· Tested to Australian and international standards for both fire performance and external weathering performance.

· Passed 2 X 10 minute burn over: Full scale infield utility pole burn test: No ignition, no structural damage to pole.

· Low level vapour permeability one way allows the pole to breath and will not promote rot or lack of adhesion like other vapour barrier systems.

· Self priming to almost any surface

· Extreme exterior performance, does not need topcoats to protect it.

· Provides a logical, tested and efficient solution to protecting exposed timbers from bushfire attack.

· Trusted nationwide for residential, commercial, GOV and large infrastructure projects where a high performance durable exterior intumescent coating solution is required.

Applications:

· Utility poles, timber bridges, temporary hoarding, platforms, motorway sound barriers, pipelines, culverts and tunnel protection.

· Vehicle ignition barriers: bush fire response vehicles, underground mining vehicles, bush and truck engine bays.

· Aboriginal housing, risk reduction & asset protection

· Risk reduction asset protection ignition barrier solutions for plastics and composites

· New single part solution for ignition barrier on exposed PU foams and thermal shock mitigation on concrete.

· Combination of F1EHV and Solacoat applications.
